Retracare Smartcare Warranties
We can supply you with an extended warranty for your new domestic appliance. We can supply either a 3 or 5 year service plan. The Retra Service Plan starts when the manufacturers warranty runs out.
The Retacare warranty shown on the product pages includes the free standard manufacture warranty, you are only paying for the additional years to complete the length chosen. For example if you choose a 5 year warranty service plan on an appliance that has a standard 2 year warranty then you pay for 3 years.

Why would you buy an electrical product without a guarantee?
Retracare Service Plan offers an economic means of protecting yourself against sudden and unexpected repair bills for the duration of the Retracare plan. In most cases you can extend the initial period annually. Retra: the Trade Association for Independent Electrical Retailers has been established for 70 years and only offers this plan through it members.
VARIATIONS: Retra reserves the right to vary the terms & Conditions of the Retracare Service Plan in the event that there is a change in law or a change in regulation. Any variations will be notified to your last known address in writing.

Q What does the Retracare Service Plan actually cover?
A Repairs. All repair or replacement costs following mechanical or electrical breakdown due to faulty manufacture for the lifetime of your Retracare plan.
Q Are all Costs paid for?
A Yes. Call out, labour, transportation and replacement parts (unless parts are covered by the manufacture in which case the manufacture carries out the service with no charge to the customer).
Q Who Caries out the repairs?
A Usually your supplying retailer, but if the retailer is not equipped or trained on your particular product Retracare Services will appoint an alternative qualified expert.
Q What if the product cannot be repaired?
A When the product is beyond economic repair Retracare will replace your product with a brand new comparative product if possible, from your original supplying retailer.
Q Are there any exclusions?
A Yes. But kept to a minimum, e.g. cover does not include: tuning, batteries, misuse, required maintenance and the like. Please see terms and conditions. Your household insurance may include cover against fire, theft, flood and damaged food. To avoid duplication of cover, and ensure best value from your service plan, we do not cover against these household insurance risks.
Q Does this include accidental insurance?
A Accidental insurance can be added on top of the Retracare warranty for a small fee at time of purchase in-store. If ordering on-line the prices shown are for the Silver rate (without accidental damage insurance). Once we receive your order we will contact you regarding your order for deliver and also ask if the Gold rate with accidental damage was require at this time.
